Fees & Charges
Joining Fee: Nil. Annual Fee: Free for first year , Rs 999 from second year onwards.(Service Tax is at 10.3% on Service Charges. Charges Late Payment Charges:
- Rs 350 for statement outstanding less than Rs 10,000
- Rs 500 for statement outstanding between Rs 10,000 and Rs 20,000
- Rs 600 for statement outstanding greater than Rs 20,000
- Rs 100 for statement outstanding less than Rs 1,000
- Rs 200 for statement outstanding between Rs.1,000 and Rs 2,000
- Rs 350 for statement outstanding between Rs 2,000 and Rs.5,000
- Rs 500 for statement outstanding between Rs 5,000 and Rs 10,000
- Rs 600 for statement outstanding greater than Rs 10,000
Please note effective May 1, 2010 , late payment charge applicable for statement outstanding greater than Rs 10000 has been revised from Rs 600 to Rs 700
Example:
In case there is an outstanding of Rs.7,000 on your credit card account and Rs.15,000 in your Balance Transfer account, and payment is not made by the Payment Due Date. There will be a late payment charge of Rs.350 on your credit card account and Rs. 500 on your Balance Transfer account. The example above is for illustrative purposes only. All cards and all installment products such as Instabuy, Balance Transfer, Dial-a-Loan etc will each attract Late Payment Charges if payment is not made by the Payment Due Date.
Late Fee: An additional late fee of Rs. 100/- will be charged over and above the LPC if the Minimum Amount Due is not received for two or more consecutive months.
Interest Rate: Manhattan will offer you an assured retail interest rate of 3.1% p.m. (APR of 37.2%) for the first 6 months
- Post 3 months, Manhattan does not assure your retail interest rate as stated above. The APR will be assigned and reviewed every three months based on your card usage and re-payment behaviour at the sole discretion of the bank.
- The new APR will be communicated through your statement at the time of each revision and will be applicable for a period of three months from the date of revision.
- Manhattan will charge a cash interest rate of 3.49% p.m. (APR of 41.88%). Interest on cash withdrawals is levied in the current statement from the date of cash advance to the date of repayment, or statement date, whichever is earlier. These balances will continue to attract interest till they are paid off.
Cash Withdrawal Limit: Your cash withdrawal limit is not a fixed number or percentage, but is evaluated and reset monthly. You may check your availability by calling us any time.
Cash Withdrawal Fee:
- ATM: 3% of the cash withdrawal amount, subject to a minimum of Rs. 300/-
- Manual (using teller facilities at SCB Branches): IIn addition to the above, an additional fee of Rs. 500/- will be levied for manual cash withdrawal.
Non Usage Fees: Rs. 250/- if you have not used the card for a retail or cash transaction in the last 6 months.
OverLimit Charges: Rs. 500/- per instance.
Return Cheque: Rs. 300/- per instance.
Card Replacement and Lost Card Fee: Rs. 100/- per instance.
Duplicate Statement: Rs. 125/- per statement (Prior to last 3 months)
Pin Replacement Fee: Rs. 100/- per replacement.
Charge Slip Retrieval: Rs.100/- per instance.
Overseas Transaction Fee: All non-INR transactions are converted into INR as per rate advised by VISA. The Bank charges 2.50% on the transaction as a mark-up and an additional 1% mark-up is charged towards reimbursement to VISA.
Airline/Railway Ticket Cancellation: We will levy a handling charge of Rs.100/-for these requests.
Surcharges: Rs. 25/- or 2.5% (whichever is higher) on Railway transactions. Rs.10/- or 2.5% (whichever is higher) on Petrol transactions.
Outstation teledraft charge: Rs 100 per instance.
Teledraft Cancellation Charge: Rs 50 per instance.
Outstation Cheque Fees: Rs.100/- or 1% of Cheque(if amount exceeds Rs.10,000)
Service Charges For Easy pay Bill Program: Rs.10/-
DAL Preclosure Fee: 4% of the Balance principle amount
DAL Inside limit Processing Fee: 1% of Loan amount
DAL Outside Limit Processing Fee:
- Upto 1.50Lacs amount = 2%
- 1.51Lacs to 3 Lacs = 1.5%
- 3.0 Lacs to 5Lacs = 1%
Balance Transfer processing Fee: Upto 3% depending upon the program chosen
PA Insurance processing Fee: Rs.18/-
Change of embossed name: Rs.100/-
Conversion to any other changes type/ Franchise change: Rs.100/-
Upgradation of a card: Rs.100/-
Downgrading a card: Rs.100/-

Effective 1st August 2008
For overdue accounts, charge of Rs.75 will be levied for payment collected by authorized representatives. The same will reflect in the next month's statement.
